 You have hardly ever heard about such an interesting and dangerous insect called Joel Wasp or Emerald Cockroach Wasp. Here are some interesting facts about them.

 1. The Joel wasp is a scary but interesting insect that uses cockroaches as food for its young.

 2. This wasp stings the cockroach with a specific venom that renders it inert but keeps it alive.

 3. The female joel wasp lays eggs inside the cockroach and also keeps the cockroach alive so that the young can eat the cockroach after hatching.

 4. The venom of this wasp is so powerful that it paralyzes the cockroach after walking only a few steps.

جہیز کی شروعات

جہیز کا لفظی مطلب تو جو ہو گا وہی ریے گا۔لیکن ہمارے ہاں اس کا مطلب صرف ایک ہی ہے اور وہ ہے بیٹیوں کی شادی پر دیا جانے والا سازوسامان۔ہندو اس کا مطلب ایسا سمجھ لیں تو کوئ مزائقہ نہیں ہے کیونکہ وہ بیٹیوں کو وراثتی حصہ دینا نہیں چاہتے اور اس کے بدلےکچھ چیزیں دے کر جان چھڑائ کرتے ہیں۔ جیسے نماز اور اسی طرح دوسرے احکامات کا حکم ہمیں اللہ نے دیا ہے اسی طرح وراثت میں بیٹی کا حصہ بھی اللہ نے مقرر کیا ہے۔ ہم  میں سے کسی ایک نے اس سے بچنے کے لۓ بیٹی کو کچھ چیزیں دے کر اور ساری عمر دینے کا وعدہ کر کے زمین یا دوسری جائداد کے بیان بیٹے کے حق میں دلوا لۓ۔جہیز کی اصل کہانی یہی سے شروع ہوتی ہے ۔یہ نافرمانی بالکل اسی قوم کی طرح اللہ سے چالاکی ہے ۔جن کو ہفتے والے دن مچھلی پکڑنے سے روکا گیا۔ چہیز دے کر وراثت  دینے سے بھاگنے کا دھوکا ہم صرف اللہ کو نہی دے رہے بلکہ ان تمام غریب لوگوں کو بھی دے رہے ہیں جن کے پاس وراثت نام کی کوئ چیز نہی۔لیکن ان کو پھر بھی جہیز دینا پڑتا ہے۔مجھے سمجھ نہی آتی کوئ ہے جو سمجھا دے۔ اصغر علی
